This is why we offer website training! So you can build your skills – whether you plan to make many updates to your website or hire someone else to do it.

- Our training services are live (not pre-recorded) and take place via video call
- All training sessions are 50 minutes long and include a recording of your training
- We will be working on your actual website

Beginner Training Sessions
These sessions build on each other. Plan to take them in order to ensure you have the foundation of knowledge for each next step. You may begin with the training that best suits your abilities. If you already known how to access your website and find items on your dashboard, then you could begin with Website Components.
1. Access Your Website
In this training we will identify the login screen for your website, your user credentials, and a step-by-step checklist for to use these items to log in and access your website. We will also cover the three basic components that keep your website live – domain, hosting, and platform. When necessary this training may include homework to ensure you have complete control and ownership of your website including domain, hosting, and platform.
2. Your Website’s Dashboard
Become familiar with the dashboard (that behind-the-scenes control panel) for your website. Learn the various menus and components. You will finish with an understanding of where each item that displays on your website is located in the dashboard (such as text, images, pages, posts, and products).
3. Website Components – Pages, Posts, Products, and Media
Explore the basic components of your website. We’ll look at pages and posts – how they are different and how your website uses them.
4. How to Make Simple Text Updates
In this session you will learn how to change existing text on your website. You’ll also find out how to add text to pages and sections of your website. We will explore common stumbling blocks including Blocks, Columns, Tables, and Captions.

Are you a new client? Yay! I’m excited to meet you! Before we dive into Website Training Sessions please schedule an Intro Call with me. Your Intro Call is how we get started working together. It’s a way for you to get to know me, and for me to get to know you and your business. The Intro Call session includes addressing one issue and we can work on your website as that issue.
