Frequently Asked Questions
Do You Only Work With Women Businesses Owners?
Yes.
Why only women? Because my services are carefully designed for the unique experience and needs of women running small businesses, blogs, online shops, and non-profits.
For men leading businesses and looking for marketing and project support … check out the services available at True Leaf. SarahGalbraithLaucks.com is a division of True Leaf – where we provide solutions for small businesses, entrepreneurs and start-ups. Are You a Marketing Agency?
Nope, I am not a marketing agency. My core service is education and training. I work with my clients, side-by-side, to grow their knowledge and improve their skill in marketing. I am hyper-focused on the tool of content marketing because I feel so strongly about its ability to help small businesses find success. I also tailor my services very specifically for the needs of small businesses.
How Much Does It Cost?
I offer multiple ways for you to learn from us.
- Sign up for one-on-one training. The Art of Content Marketing is a course designed to teach you this marketing method in an environment that is customized to you and your business. The course consists of four learning modules. Each learning module includes three lessons (one per month). One-on-one consulting starts at $395.00 for the trial package and costs up to $1,495 a month. My capacity to support one-on-one clients is limited – there could be a waiting list and once you start working with me a 3-month commitment is required to hold your spot.
- Another option is to work with me one project at a time. Check out the options on the Services page. Project services range in size and cost – offering you quite a few ways to start learning and improving your marketing.
- The third way is available at no cost – follow the articles I post on my Blog. I teach my system via my blog articles and it is a great way for you to get started!
Do You Work With Clients From Other Industries?
Do I work with clients in industries other than health and wellness? Yes, definitely. I’m always interested in supporting new clients. I commonly also work with clients who run small businesses or non-profits serving the sustainable agriculture, specialty food, and disability communities. Sustainable agriculture and specialty food tie in directly with the work we do at True Leaf. Disability is a great fit given my extensive background serving the disability community. The most important aspect to consider is that you are a small business or non-profit.
How Long Will It Take?
How long will it take until you have a thorough mastery of content marketing? The answer to that question has two parts.
First, we will achieve improvement in your marketing with our very first meeting. So there an immediate effect.
Second, professional marketers have college degrees in marketing (perhaps even a masters degree) and/or years of relevant experience in marketing. It takes time and training to master the skill. But don’t let that fact discourage you! Keep reading :).
Once you start a business you can’t exactly go back to college to master marketing. That would not be realistic. So what to do? That’s where I come in. I work with you to give you a strong, solid foundation of marketing knowledge and skills. So you can market your business and achieve success.
I firmly believe in a methodical approach. I find it brings the most success. For that reason I typically meet with clients once per month with some support between meetings. It takes between one and three years to work through the full curriculum while also running your business.
Here’s what’s great about this approach. Each and every time we have a training call we will develop your marketing toolbox and work on your marketing.
You can work with me for a period of time, perhaps take a break during your busy season, then come back and continue working during your slow times.
While it’s common to want all of the knowledge all at once – the reality is that you will be most effective if you learn in small amounts, apply your knowledge in the real world, and then come back to me to learn some more. This methodical approach is what produces the best and longest lasting results.
